King Kong

$ 35.00

A tee inspired by this vintage photo of Lenny "King Kong" Reed.

He worked for Beck in Harlem, NYC, on 138th Street, before the Beck Warehouse moved to Melville, Long Island. "King Kong" was a parts man, raced his Indian on the weekends. He raced as an Independent through the 1940s and 1950s, since the AMA did not allow African Americans to join at that time.
